What players are saying

Real feedback from players and cue builders after switching to Paladin.

“I switched over just to try it and ended up keeping it on. The hit is just more predictable. I’m not second guessing spin anymore.”

Ryan M. San Diego, CA

“Install was easy, and it felt good right away. Didn’t need a bunch of break in. That’s honestly what surprised me the most.”

Carlos D. Miami, FL

“I’ve tried a lot of tips over the years. This one just feels consistent. Same response shot after shot.”

Ethan K. Toronto, Canada

“Medium is money. It does everything well. Draw, follow, touch shots… it just behaves how you expect.”

Jake R. Dallas, TX

“What I like is the feedback. You can actually feel what’s going on instead of it being muted or weird.”

Omar H. Medfor, New Jersey

“I install tips for customers and I’ve started recommending these. Less guesswork, and they hold up well.”

Daniel S. Phoenix, AZ

FAQ

Quick answers for players and dealers.

Do I need to scuff or score the bottom of the tip before installing?

No. Paladin Precision tips feature our BondLock™ Interface, a pre-engineered adhesion surface on the glue side of the tip. The BondLock™ Base increases effective bonding surface area and promotes even glue distribution, so no sanding or scoring is required prior to installation.

What is the BondLock™ Interface?

The BondLock™ Interface is a controlled micro-pattern engineered into the base of the tip during manufacturing. Unlike a flat glue surface, the BondLock™ Base creates a structured bonding interface that improves adhesion consistency and reduces installer-dependent variables.

Why does Paladin use a patterned base instead of a flat one?

Traditional cue tips rely on manual surface roughing, which can vary from installer to installer. The BondLock™ Interface eliminates this inconsistency by delivering a repeatable, engineered bond surface—every tip, every time.

Can I still scuff the BondLock™ Base if I want to?

It’s not necessary and not recommended. Sanding or scoring may flatten or remove the engineered adhesion geometry of the BondLock™ Interface, which is designed to perform optimally as manufactured.

Does the BondLock™ Interface limit what glue I can use?

No. The BondLock™ Interface is compatible with standard cue tip adhesives, including commonly used cyanoacrylate (CA) glues.

Is the BondLock™ pattern cosmetic?

No. The pattern is functional, not decorative. The BondLock™ Interface is a structural feature designed specifically to improve bond reliability and installation consistency.

How do I choose Soft vs Medium vs Hard?

Soft = maximum grip and touch.
Medium = best all-around balance.
Hard = crisp energy transfer and power.
